training plan
The teacher places a strong emphasis on experiencing the fundamentals. Techniques seek to nurture openness and curiosity, as well as compassion for self and others. Brain science helps to ground the practice. Sustaining over a period of time reinforces and strengthens the habit. Being consciously aware allows you to notice its benefits and subtle (or dramatic) transformations.
for children
For our young friends, a mindfulness curriculum strengthens attention skills and emotional self-regulation. Both form the foundations for a conducive learning environment.
Cheen’s classrooms include students from top schools in Singapore, kids from underserved families, as well as private lessons for families.
for adults
Mindfulness instructions for adults are experiential in nature. Such sessions focus on themes such as managing stress and anxiety, improving sleep, and cultivating happiness.
Cheen has coached Members of Parliament, cancer patients, and the everyday person who faces stress from work, relationships and life.
